Tuesday, 30 September 2008 teehees. am rewarding myself with some red wine mask after all dat late nights. :D beauty doesnt come easy. oh, finally gotten a chance to splurge after earning some tiny sum of money! hohoho.. orchard-ed with kai chin & lings. shopping was LOVE. but i aint satisfied. especially when the "after-effects" sets in. like, i regret buying this or that, this doesn't suits me, impulse buys,yada yada. :/ urghh.. JANICE NEEDS MORE SHOPPING THERAPY PLEASEEE..:D YAYYE. work had been rather great or alrighteee for the past ferw days. :) whee! great dinner with dancing queen apple, scand zhen, prettyboy zhen lin and "cai quan" partner jiasheng at marche ytd after work! :D even thou the food was kinda lousy actually. :x its e company dat makes it great!

Saturday, 27 September 2008 whoohoo.. formula one night race is finally here in singapore! just had dinner with kai chin & lings again! went to rafflescity & caught a lil glimpse of e night race! it was damn cool. e sound of e engine sure was deafening! we can even hear it inside e shopping mall! too bad i dont own a ticket at e grandstand to catch it. :( sighs. & im supposed to go shopping with cousin today! but she couldnt make it. :/ called up some peeps but they were all involved in helping out F1. URGHH..so maddening! so many of them involved! so there goes my off dayyyyy.. anyway, work on thursday due to F1 golf & gala dinner thingy on at amara. my first time serving western style banquet & im in charged of 2 tables! im totally LOST and i couldnt cope. :/ thanks to super nice colleagues like cheryl, jason (laoda), hendy(i think :x), jiasheng, marc,some other runners and a few Mianma friends! :D without them i think i can DIE on e spot. then was asked to stay back do pack up. linens are BIG TURN OFF. GROSS. it smells like soya sauce that have been left out in e sun for hundred YEARS! and we had to tie it in a bundle of 10 and count. can imagine e smell of my hands luhhs! later bf dont wante hold my hands alr. :( boos. then help to lay table cloth and set table. my darlings (rebecca, xiuzhen, apple) went off earlier cos they have work e next day. but cheryl stayed back with me. the 11 of us stayed back to do the table setting all e way till 4AM! was feeling so cold and tired. but i have got FUN and NICE peeps working with me so its SMOOTH and HAPPY as well! hendy even got left over breads, LAMB, codfish (1 plate left), pasta and pepsi for us! a lil supper before continuing our work! hees. great motivation!oh and TIPS! teehees! shared e tips among 14 of us (inclu. managers); each person gets abt $12! WAHAHAS. nd i have gt 2 shared cab with e 2 mianma friends. sent them back to jurong west then me. reach home at bloody 6AM. totally SHAGGED. its my first time working till so "early". but tips, food and great people keeps me going! :D im missing my tard cos i havent been seeing him and we were both busy working.. we dint even have chance to celebrate our 9th mth! how great.. :/  its so sadd i got to kiss my but nonetheless, e message that carries your kisses is sooo sweettt.. :D Wednesday, 24 September 2008 i wish two-faced people dont exist. but it just did. so much for e effort put in. :/ utterly disappointed and angry. its just another day at work & i guess its just part of working. janice PHUA is right. tml will be a better day. :) & leftover mango puddings cheers me up. yippeee. am working tml. hope everything will be fine and smooth for me. but i feel so weak all over.. i gt a bad feeling about it. my head is spinning, my limbs are weak and pain at e joints and i practically shit out everything i ate and feeling heat up. please be gone when i open my eyes tml. may e sun shine on me and start my day right. PLEASEEE... Sunday, 21 September 2008 BEWARE, VERY VERY LONG POST HERE. woah. finally gotten some fotos! :D i really dread waiting for fotos from different people. urgh. i cnt wait to own a camera of my own. like e saying goes, its better to depend on urself rather than others. :p & dad promised me one! cnt wait man! heehees. alright. i was wiped out totally. had been working my ass off. :/ 18th sept thursday: date with suling & kaichin. :D finally got to meet them after 236402733days. hees.

kc. kc accompanied me to look for meiyin's bday present before suling came. :) then we pepperlunched. i was starving at dat time den i can almost eat down a cow. :x HAHAS. i had rice, an egg, a steak and hamburger patty. nd i was still urging for more rice! big appetite. hahas.
then we went on to esplanade and e merlion for more napshots! :D nd its actually my first time i went over to the merlion area! damn fun. hees. cnt wait for more dates tgt again! nd definitely e catch ups are great. :D

HA! my face damn funny cos i wante BRUST out luffing alr. e guy doesnt noe how to operate e cam. :x then rushed home to catch a wink before waking up at 4.30am! but i couldnt sleep at all! i bet i only had abt 2hrs of rest. :/ 19th sept friday: met becca at 5.30am. she bought me MACDONALDS breakfast! whee! :D her dad drove us to harbourfront. reached workplace a lil too early thou. hahas. took our time to changed and she tied my bun. :) thanks babe for doing my bun all e time. my lil hairdresser. LOL.
dat day was crazy-ness. there was an event going on back-to-back. all e way from buffet breakfast, teabreak, lunch, break and buffet dinner. so many turnovers. total madness. :( first i was asked to be "door girl" with peipei. damn sian. just stand at e door and open the door for e guests. & damn. i was ticked off by e GM! omg. GM eh! i feel like jumping off e building pleaseeee.. the story goes like this: my side was kinda "cold", no business. in e sense, very few ppl use dat door. so i was kinda bored and take it for granted. i was looking at wads going on INSIDE. instead of looking out OUTSIDE for guests. then e GM caught me at e wrg time! i knew there were guests beside me, just right outside. but they were smoking and chit chatting. i was waiting for them, but it always seems like they aint finished. so i wasnt looking. then e next moment i turn back, the guest had alr half open e door himself! and e GM was behind him staring back at me! DAMN. urgh. i dont know wads wrng with me, seems like nobody likes me, no one wants to enter from my door eh! den all go to peipei. -.- LOL. den was busy doing turnover, and then became server thru out e day alr. my arms were aching cos had to carry so many stuff and continuously! finally around 4pm, another batch of servers came and we can relax! wahahas. we were asked to clean up e cutlery before leaving at 7pm. BUT e whole lot of us, ard 9 people, we decided to stay back and do turnover for tml's lunch wedding dinner. ard 20tables. clean up the ball room after e buffet dinner. then ard 9pm, we had the leftover dinner buffet for dinner! alot left and e food is damn nice! all good food! HAHAS. but we dint have a good taste of it. cos jason (our boss), wanted us to do our turnover. so we had a lil bite and went on to do the setting. :/ my leg was aching so much, so badly. i was in heels luhs, and its KILLING ME. :/ my last toe ate into my other toe and it bled. :( from setting the tables, laying e table cloths, taking out all e cutlery, putting 10 of each set, then putting it all nicely in order.. e 9 of us, did it.. till 2am! and with some help of a few others. TWO AM! omg. in total we worked 19 hours! my first time man! by the time, i was totally knock out and my mood SUCKS and i was freaking moody. i think it was quite a bad day at work. really. and im sorry becca if u think i was very fierce when i told u off for being so rash. i was quite gotten my pay and when i see e cash i was like DELIGHTED. feel like its all worth it. but i was in fact too tired to even rejoice abt it. hahas. then we waited for company cab. i shared cab with rebecca and gareth. yishun-gareth, sembawang-me, then poor becca last-woodlands. and she told me e uncle drove her all e way INTO Republic poly when she say RP, cos her house is just in front of RP. LOL. poor thing. reached home at 4am. off to bed e moment im home. 20th sept. saturday: woke up at 9am and dad drove me and becca to work. she bought me breakfast again! thanks sweetie. we were LATE due to traffic jam at CTE. bahh. :( deducted half an hour pay. sian. then next was THERE IS NO MORE "s" size banquet uniform. not even "m", not even" L"... we were forced to wear "XL" okayy! i look like i have grown an extra inch of shoulder.. super big board rushed off to ballroom for briefing. partnered with chee seng. 3 tables in total. :) my first wedding dat im serving! HAHAS. i was so nervous okayy! i still have problem serving drinks without shaking. :x oh and i gt to do fan fare! omg! damn cool. walking into the ballroom with e food, the music, everyones' attention on us was like..WOAH. cool! HAHAS. but in fact my hand was breaking alr. super heavy! i think everything was quite alright and i think i did not bad. HAHAS. :D and my partner really did alot for me. hahas. super nice dude. helping me with alot of stuff i forget to do and he guides me along like reminding me to collect e food etc. oh, and i really like e wedding lunch. damn cute. e couple was an air stewardess and a pilot! a dark knight pilot okayy! damn cool!!! and e videos always make me wanne tear. e thot of leaving ur parents.. the thot of ur dad giving your hand to ur husband.. hmm..okayy, im thinking too much. HAHAS. still long way thou. nd their friends even plan smth for them, sweet eh. after work waited for xiuzhen and apple. then we headed off to cityhall to meet fung yung, rayna, jolene, fion and dexter! met fion at mrt. then went to find e rest at shudoku; jap style marche. :) my first time! damn cool. hahas. we bought many food and shared. had soft shell crab ramen, cream mushroom pasta, grilled sticks, curry rice, meat dumplings, fried rice omelette. :D nice. den red bean with mochi, mango ice and thick toast with sweet potato ice cream and cookies and cream ice cream! yum yum. :) headed home with xiuzhen after dat while e rest went on to haji lane to chill out. am too tired. really happy to go out for dinner with them, e laughters and crazyness. :) loves. and FUNG YUNG, thanks for getting us presents from ur trip! damn nice. :) gotten a yellow dress from him, but i couldnt fit in. HAHAS. too BIG for me. :x but its e thots dat counts right?! thanks mr nice! :D lastly, wad is happier when u are home tired and something nice awaits for u?! YES, MY LONG AWAIT PARCEL IS HERE! my leopard print dress is HERE. -jumps around-my first time receiving a clothes in an envelope!
HAHAS. so anticipating. tried it on, but was kinda disappointed. :/ its aint in e material i thot it was and its a lil lose for me at e okayy. i wante SHOP soon! heehee, cnt wait for yet another shopping spree! to do: -go register some marathon soon. -exercising dates with becca. -shopping with theng. -head off to the sandy sunny beach. -go clubbing. :X -met up good friends. :) yay, prata-ing with dear in a few hours time! :D work; i love you, i love you not. so contradicting. sighs. |
