holidays are here baybee. :D how great!

i was such a bum for e past few days. supposing its holiday i will have time to update my blog more often. but it was totally opposite! shall update a lil before people thinks this blog is DEAD.

blahh. i totally screwed up my business finance paper and mbs paper. :( shit. i just hope i wont kana any supp paper pls. imagine all that mugging, notes writing, painful memorising work have to repeat all over again?! no way man! i shall start praying hard now. :/

backtracking, lunch-ed with petite Natalie at TM and gossiped a lil here and there. shes such a darling and we shall meet up during e holiday for shopping! :D rush off home to bathe and stuff before meeting my much missed cussie! but i guess i was too tired, i overslept and was late for e date. :x sleep deprived luhs. we had dinner and off to shopping at BUGIS!

yup, so it was quite fruitful. bought a high waist shorts and gladiators.

gladiators are super cheap now. $19 so i dun care. HAHAS. i bet when e trend is over i will just dump it at e back of the shoe rack. wahahas. i nearly bought it when e trend started at $49! thank god it ran out of my size. but cussie couldnt find her denim skirt. :( nvm, shall look out for it on thurs when we are meeting again! :D cnt wait. and i still owe her a ben and jerry treat! and i really love all that chatting! hees. really glad i have cousins which im so close to. :)

im in SHOPPING MOOD! and without fail, my "wants" list is somewhat completed. coming up. =x Hees.

but im so broke. :/ till then i decided to take up banquet for temp job! fast cash yo. and my babes are working too. scand zhen and rebecca! woots. amara sanctuary at sentosa! yes sentosa! super FARRR can. but e pay is tempting for me. heck care.

went down for training ytd. my babes were unable to make it. so met zhen's friend,JANICE for training instead. met her during bsc camp. but dint really talk to her. so i was kinda worried e awkwardness and stuff. and the worst part was im late! supposed to reach harbourfront at 10, but i was met with jam and reached ard 10 plus, 11! :( but thank goodness shes was very nice and waited for me cos its my first time and she was worried i dont know e way there. and theres pretty fiona too. :)

oh and i finally met another friend who have e same name as me! so weird. cos im like calling myself! HAHAS. and i called her e day before and e convo was like:

me: "hello, are u janice?"

janice: "ya."

me: "oh, im janice."

hahas. but shes really friendly.

training was alright. then we had practical which made me jello cos its my first time! oh boy!

oh. and e practical was really cool! i thot we would be just going thru how to serve the food and stuff. i dint ecpect our lunch to be an 8-course chinese dinner! like wedding like dat! omg. damn cool. then each of us were to serve one dish each. by random i served e 2nd course, SHARK FINS FISH MAW SOUP. it was heavy like hell. and i have short and skinny limbs.. i almost couldnt reach e middle of the lazy susan! and it was like " THUD" on the table. :x but overall still alright! i think e worst was to debone the fish! nightmare! havent try that yet. shall ask mummy to cook fish and i shall practice to debone it. hahas. theres steps and sequence somemore! -faint-

thank god my table co-workers were really helpful and nice. makes my first time so much easier. and they are a funny lot of people! hahas.

training ended at 6pm. its really easy money today luhs! got 8 course lunch, some knowledge and we were PAID. woohoo! $46 in my pocket! hees.

happily met my darling after a whole day of training. :) we took e wrong bus and ended up at clarke quay! LOL. so dinner-ed at subway. :D havent been seeing him for quite some time. really misses! ♥

to you: im glad u come clean with me. dats why i dint scold u at all. cos i noe ur mum alr did nd i dont wante rub on to it. im really sorry abt e cancellation of ur trip. another lesson learnt i hope. :/ i sometimes doubt myself, thinking if i should really restrict you. but i guess i did it for ur own good. i hope u understand. call me uncool if u have to. i dont care.

i dint practice much when b.fin requires loads of it. and e best part is i havent revise the first term booklet! 4 topics! i put in so much effort for this sub; making sure history doesnt repeat itself. (doing badly for acounting in year 1). i make sure i attend lectures and do my tutorials. i struggled so hard to manage a C and i bet its gonna drop to a D now. oh man. i guess im really hopeless at quantitative subjects. i so wanne die now. :(

i feel like giving up man. i think im gonna head off to bed and wake up early tml. till then. :(

and exam is so driving me crazy. that i forgtten our 8th mth! sorry tard. yes. another month! :)

oh boy. i hardly sit down and concentrate on revising my work! im so worried i cnt finish revising luhs! urghh..

i bet im nt the only one! the sec sch kids are having their prelims too! so i reckon everyone is poking pen into their eyes! =x and it will soon be my turn! yes! how i wish i can cut open my skull and squeeze all my notes into it and stitch it back. it can save me the time and the pain of reading the notes and memorising them. its such a chore! but its just part and parcel of life right? examinations and stuff. blahh.. hate it. :(

putting that aside, as the Olympic game is still going on now. many is in olympiad craze! grace phua is one big crazy fella! :p as for me, i cnt stop admiring

Michael Phelps!!

hes incredible! he met his unbelievable goal of achieving EIGHT gold medals in ONE Olympic game! and i mean, its alr tough trying to win one medal in one olympic game, not to mention GOLD medal and not one but EIGHT of it! i wonder how he manage to do all dat. in total, he has 14 GOLD medals from 2 games! hes the man yo! :p and Jamaica is the fastest country man. all the fastest people are there! so cool.

and many are proud that singapore finally won our first silver medal after 45 years! but i beg to differ. yes, i WOULD be proud if its achieved by our very own grown, nurtured, real Singaporean, someone who carry the SINGAPORE blood who did it. i guess many will agree with me. im sure. :x if u notice, almost half of the singapore team are "bought back". i dun like the idea. so wad if we won? its just another PR. its just someone we bought back. it isnt achieve by someone of a true Singaporean. someone who is born here, right here in singapore. at least, dats how i felt. i dint feel the happiness nor proud-ness upon the news that we won. nothing.

yupp. so its GRACIIE's first sun tanning session! really hope she enjoyed it & come with me AGAIN. HAHAS. yesyes. and psssttt..SHE WORE BIKINI okayy! xp

we sure had fun under the scorching sun! the updates, the camwhoring and lil small talks are love. & as usual shes always filled with lame-ness. so i swear its never boring out with her! love you babe! :D a kiss for u too! HAHAS.

after abt an hour and a half of tanning, we packed up and went to 7-eleven to purchase BIG GULP. water deprived! all that sweat after tanning. (: then walked our way to palawan beach. aw man. we were like two amused & excited kids surrounding e lil pond-like pool for kids! & i found out a weird habit she has! she says she love the smell of chlorine water! =.=

then bathing time! we then took a walk around the Merlion area where they have this long stretch of water struture? i dont know wads dat called. =x yeah. anneeewayyy, we were like two 5yr old kids stuck in a 18year old body! blahhh.. we were so in love with that attraction! filled with colours, cute structure and water!way back to childhood. &we were saying how great it would be if we were like kids and jump into it! damn fun luhs! BUT OBVIOUSLY WE CNT.. so all we merely did was to take pics. :)

after a stroll around e area, we went back to vivo. candy empire! ohman, im so tempted! is like how i wish i own candy empire! :x we bought some candies and went off to serangoon to meet Rebecca. we are going CHOMP CHOMP for dinner! becca was late. so we just find our own secured comfort spot reading mag and stuff while waiting.

we had a big feast! :p we shared prawn mee, fried kway teow, satay, bbq sting ray, chicken wings and super big lychee drink! so sinful but definitely worth. :D

i have just transferred the peektures taken today and we took freaking 120 peektures! omg. nice one grace! bet it will take some time uploading!

trying to start everything well, only to return home trashy.

Tears rolled down my cheeks. i tried hard to not let it affect me but i realised its too hard for me to take it. we said nth at all and silence was all i heard. sometimes i may seems fine on the outside, but many a times i had to take it alone inside. my heart aches, but i couldnt open up to u, let you heal my broken heart..and i dint. not that i dont trust u..its me. im like dat. i rather bottle up things inside when things happened. only to open up when its all over. it gives me time to think it through.

disagreements seems inevitable.

again, im tired of changing how people think. im gonna be fine. i think i need a lil break.

i dont need you to give in to me. i dont mean it as "its ur fault" kinda thing, just because im e one who is upset by it. neither do i want an apology. i bet you doesnt feel any better off anyway.

HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

in summary, i spent my day rotting man. when i woke up, half e day was gone. den have to rush off to granny's place. but just when i was abt to step out of the house, it started raining like no body business. =.= so i was rotting on my sofa waiting for e rain to stop.. but apparently, its not stopping after an hour of waiting! :( so asked bro to carry e umbrella & send me to the bus stop. :) seldom so sweet luhs. HAHAS.

the mrt was super crowded luhs. i think everyones going to catch the fireworks.

im so glad granny lives on e 15th storey, overlooking the town area; the singapore flyer, the floating platform, the bridge, yada yada. and i can watch the air show as well as fireworks in comfy! how great! HEES. no squeezing and maybe chances of getting molested by some bangalas. =x LOL.

the air show was amazing!!! omg! it was flying right ON TOP of my head! i swear i can see every movement and so close up! :D cool! hees. theres this part where e plane goes all e way up 180degree and down 180degree? damn cool. and it was spinning! love e hart shape too, but it aint in pink smoke. :( and i find e part where they inter-meet each other damn cool. from one angle it looks like they are going to crash into each other! thrill. and they are flying so close tgt! i also wanne marry a pilot like zoe tay! =x HAHAS.-hint hint-

hmm, but i dint manage to enjoy the fireworks as much this year. dunnoe why. :( and mayb cos no one is there to share my excitement either. i thot my cousins will be there, but NONE was there. sadd. so i was left to watch the parade kinda alone while e adults are "dry swimming".

blahh.. so sad. & i realised im nt e only one celebrating a boring nation bday. rawr.

on friday, i saw many kids wearing red tees coming out from their school & while listening to those national songs, i cnt help but reminisce the days i spent in pri and sec sch, where we do celebrate national day. still remember everyone assembled in the hall.. going through those national day songs like "home" and other songs in other languages as well. i will sing along to them. -dont luff okayy!- and i rmb we will have music lessons, learning the year's theme song a few weeks before national day! aw man.i really miss it! :( dont you? i dunnoe, i can feel the national day "season" during those days..but not anymore now.

i so wanne be at the parade live! i wan tickets! i bet the feeling will be so much diff when u are present at the parade itself. all dat rara-ness, excitement, enthu! i miss going to parade! i still rmb i get to be there live a few years in a row! super cool! and i miss being part of the parade! still rmb helping out the parade.. it may be tiring cos have to rehearse and stuff, voluntarily, but its all worth it. you get to be there live, you get to know new friends and you will really enjoy yourself! some stuff money cnt buy! i dont care, got to be there live at e parade somehow next year! :D
