Monday, 31 March 2008 alright peeps. i finally got my lazy bum off the chair and im WORKING again! so hardworking right?! hees. *a round of applause for janjan pls* it was super last min. jackson called me up dat he needs people to work frm saturday to this coming friday. at first he said must be able to work ALL days. (which i cnt) so was really upset. then later he said i could try out one day first. so i started work YTD! im nt shy to admit in fact i dun really noe wads e job scope like and theres no INTERVIEW! like wow. but i trust jackson luhs. =x all i know is its buffet catering. so i dint noe wad to expect. was told to meet him at orchard mrt. met him and maggie. my new found friend! shes also from TP. i find her super cute and we have gt so much to talk abt! it seems as thou we knew each other way before. :D and we went to the tent outside taka! its SINGAPORE FASHION FESTIVAL! wads more surpising is I DINT NOE I WAS GOING TO WORK IN THERE! never in my life had i walked into those professional runway show! *ima poor kid* when i walked in, theres alr like many of such staff there standby. he took us to the kitchen there to get our blazzar cum uniform. went to changed. gosh. theres only m size and its FREAKING BIG CAN! -.- after we changed, we were asked to stand by at the VIP sector! which overlooked the runway! but the disadvantage was that we have to climb a flight of stairs. but who cares as long as theres nice overview of the whole thing! :D *jumping ard in excitement like a lil kid* after a short briefing, guests started coming. was asked to carry platter ard and serve food with another guy. while maggie, preeti and another short hair girl did drinks. jackson was the bar tender. oh man its my first time doing F&B and i didnt noe carry plates on ur palms in so freaking PAINFUL. :( and theres this dish dat have heavy small plates on top of the platter! its double the weight can! *faint* ytd alone have 3 shows meaning 3 batches to serve. so by the end of the 2 shows, i cui alr can. is like ur palms are stiff and its aching like HELL! and its like e max. its painful and aching to the max but u still have to carry on.. damn sad luhs. BUT money keeps me going on! woots. *ting ting ting* after one day of hard work, was famished at e end of the day. went to have mac before heading back home. i pity my own arms loads. *massage massage* as for today only gt 2 shows, so was asked to work frm 6-10. was much slacky today. hope tml will be the same. :) reasons why i love this job: 1) can watch free catwalk show! EVERY SHOW IS DIFFERENT and u can watch ALL OF IT. pretty pretty and handsome handsome models. *drools* oh, and they are so upclose! can see boobies hoping ard luhs! LOL. =x and maggie dint noe models dun wear bra. hahas. jackson even worse! he say they dun wear panties. I DUN BELIEVE luhs. eee..really damn gross if dats e case. HAHAS. i told him they wear g-string. =x 2) get to admire super duper nice clothes, accessories and shoes which i know i couldnt afford. BUT i wish to own one when im older and RICHER! woohoos. 3) it only gets busy at a certain time when e show is starting and e rest of the time is just slack ard and money gets into ur pocket. :D 4) its $6 an hour just holding platter and serving guests! much generous pay compared to SENTOSA & u have to do 545376628 times more tiring & tedious job then this! HA! 5) can see celeb up close! denise is the 'dai yan ren' for e mastercard for this fashion show. so every show she will be up at the VIP area to chat with the VIPs and take pics with them! shes super PRETTY and i like all her dressings frm top to bottom, head to toe! gorgeous lady. 6) got free coke, orange juice, lime juice, champagne, red wine, white wine to drink. :x 7) i have gt nice peeps working ard me. :) wante noe how does it look like inside?
with maggie. with jackson. and before work, met superman. we cabbed to catch a movie. the shutter. its wasnt as scary as the Thai version and the PLOT is exactly e same. nope nope. if u havent catch shutter, watch e thai version. and did i mention while waiting for cab, my parents drove past us and caught us tgt! SHIT. was uneasy e whole time. thank god they dint stop! mum called soonafter & thank god i pulled it off. *sigh of relief* think she couldnt be bothered. HAHAS. after movie, eat like we nv eaten for days with dear. we had chicken rice and another plate of mee goreng! super FULL! hahas. oh, and while walking to work, someone gave me a stalk of FLOWER. super light up my day! and after work, some random guys from workplace gave me and maggie free coke! how nice is my work.

Saturday, 29 March 2008 oh man. theres so much to update! i can only say im BUSY and LAZY. :( guess wad. i woke up at 5pm today! more than half e way is alr GONE. ytd was a GREAT night. really. let me present to u temasek's poly dinner & dance 2008; chroma de Runway: a night of fashion at regent hotel. :D in fact, i really regret buying the ticket. (it costed me $50! yesh! dat costly!) and realising not much zilra peeps are going! wth. thank god theres scandals grace, becca, weng, cy and co. who 'pressure' me.. and i ended up attending D&D. i think i will really regret it if i sold e ticket away. :) i havent been really looking forward to it at first. was really slacky..which is so unlike me. usually i will be the 1st to be kan chiong like wad to wear and stuff like WAY BEFORE the dinner. but this time i only get worked up a few days b4 e dinner. so its really SLACK AH! im broke to buy new dress. so borrowed a black dress frm my utmost love really last min. (thanks alot babe! hai shi ni zui hao.(: ) not only dat, being e usual paranoid and pessimestic jan, i was so afraid of unexpected, unhappy things that may occur and ruin e night. thank god,nth much bad dat happened. maybe dat jam on the way there, eveythings fine. :D supposed to join becca & grace scans for makeup and hairdo. its costed them abt $50 each but being broke, i decided to DIY instead. :D save $$$. took my own sweet time. fake lashes, golden eyeshadow, lipstick, blusher, eyeliner. CHECKED.
then hairdo. permed my own hair. (but cui diao after awhile) and used mum's glitter hair spray woohoos! DONE.
dressed up, accessorized( mum's necklace and ear rings) and wait for them to come over. becca's mum was nice enough to send us to the hotel. but STOOPID jam caused us to be real late. zzz. when we reached regent hotel. we just stoned outside! e lobby was crowded with people! i got all nervous and stuff. went to 'register' and get our goody bags.:) saw jason panda first who's helping out.
and before we know, everyone started taking photo with each other. :D then after taking ENOUGH pics, we went into e function room. and wow. the stage was a runway. and EVERYONE have to walk up the stage and to ur table! ohmyohmy. was seated with fellow zilra peeps. theres larry, weng, cy, becca, grace, me and 4 other cham cham people. =x hahas. oh, and i do have to mention i really am lucky in some way.. first, each table have a string and one person from each table have to hold on to it. being a gentleman, weng hold it. then e mc said,the one OPPOSITE have to hold e other end. nice one. ITS JANICE HUAY. zzz. so with the string, we have to hang 7 items that he listed on it firmly. we have gt everything but we're missing credit card and dunnoe how many cent from which year. so dint win. :( next was 6 lucky stars among hundred of guests will gt to win golden village $28 gift cards! it was said to be under the chair.so everyone was searching. as i was LAZY, i dint bother to bend down to check. so i just ask becca to check for me. she say dunhave. so 4 of the ppl who found e stars went up.. means 2 more is still out there. just when i was abt to give up, i touched underneath my chair and found smth pointy... its a STAR! i was damn excited! WOOHOOS. :D the programs were great too. theres even our own students being models showcasing pretty fashionable clothes. damn cool. as for e food. it was fine, just dat e last few dishes, i dint even touch it cos it turned cold and i dun have e appetite to eat. was too busy taking pics. =x the whole thing ended with dance. flashing lights everywhere. my side was really 'low low low low'.. so we went over to the other side. find people and started taking pics and chit chat. after everything, we just hang around e lobby area and decide where to go.we went to clarke quay! and after much persuading, my mum allows me to stay out. but its only until 3am. but WHO CARES. i noe i wun be a good girl dat night. =x we cabbed there and we walked frm clarke quay to the central to find the rest of the peeps.(elieen, dexter, nic, kokguan, ck, becca, cy, maybeline, grace, meng, jy and mei fen) stoned there abit b4 GOING BACK CLARKE QUAY AGAIN.-.- went to fashion bar. omg. its FULL. and its all TP D&D students luhs! LOL. being e last group to be there, we found a cosy place near e entrance to settle down. ordered 2 jug of red bull vodka, one vodka, one jug of orange juice, sprite and cranberry for becca who's nt drinking. :) each of us paid $12. played 'cai quan' the one who guessed correctly wins, so the ones beside e winner have to drink. ck and becca who was siting beside me keep winning..and poor jan have to keep drinking. -.- and being SLOW doesnt help. SLOW= Punishment. DRINK. :x
went out to rest awhile.the alcohol was taking effect. was feeling real hot and headache. :( sunny and kokguan vomitted. helped them take tissue. then jy came out. he's really DRUNK like... he couldnt even walk straight! kok guan took him to the toliet. poor jy. and weng saw me and tot i was drunk too. NO im not,okies! hahas. after drinking, we went out as the bar was closing alr. many were drunk can. but i think e worst is TJ! omg. he cnt even walk. he fell twice. and he still can rmb my name and talk! LOL. damn funny. becca and i shared cab home. jason and ck walked us to the taxi stand. i dunnoe wads wrong but i just am high and keep laughing nonstop. LOL. slept on becca's lap the moment i was in the cab.zzz. reached home ard 5am and everyone in e house is ASLEEP. no scolding. WAHAHAS. it was purely a GREAT NIGHT. :D
going back track.. sunday was venos refresh. learnt mass GL cheer which was freaking LONG like dunnoe wad. 7 pages ehs! but it was surpising i could memorised it! :D after refresh,went to marina square to get present for mummy. but out of stock, went to orchard. theres 50% off storewide! :D hees. bought the white bag she wanted. :D then went to becca's hse to check out her sis's boots and her dresses. it was damn fun! she walked me to the bus interchange as we were practicing e mass cheer! monday was yet another refresh. but its all empire refresh. :) it was kinda lame luhs. we have to find 'treasure' only to find out the treasures are used for final clash. and i was so pissed by one of the programmer! cos i volunteered to hold the pinkish-jello-like thingy. and i have to go collect one part of the clue. i just take wad i was supposed to take and passed to my grp members. i was really careful. and after a long time we realised the 'clue' was missing! then e programmer told his fellow programmer that WE LOST THE CLUE. nice one. i can swear e clue wasnt stapled with e 'envelop'. I DINT LOSE IT CAN. zzz. and cnt stand him,so yaya luhs. zzz. *slaps* i left b4 the final clash starts. had steamboat with family at mt. faber! woos. cool man. as its a monday, there isnt much people. so was enjoying the dinner very much. and the soup base is GOOD. :D met my utmost love to collect the dress from her. and we managed to have our heart to heart session at starbucks and update each other. :D super nice. miss her luhs. tuesday was our 3rd monthsary. hahas.:) he was nice enough to accompany me to vivocity and orchard to shop for belt for my dnd. :D was really fussy..and ended up buying a belt at far east. (but dint use it in e end.-.- nice one) after a day of shopping we just chill at starbucks. :) skipped dinner and went back. time really flies and we have been tgt for 3 mths alr. u have been treating me well. thank you for all the care u showered on me. :) and im sorry i made u so worried last night when i went to drink. i rmb ur words. know my limits. and u told me u'll be there if i were drunk. :) ignore my camwhore mood. :x

LOL. andand just gotten e ECP zilra outing pics frm becca. uploaded. :) oh ya, yesh, im back. shall blog abt e cruise thingy later when i get all e pics frm my cussie. however,in general, it just sucks and wad i can say is its a WASTED trip. i find no purpose in it can. zzz. DISAPPOINTED. boohoos. heh. got to go back all e way back sch tml & monday for REFRESH. VENOS refresh on a SUNDAY?! -.- anyway, hope it will be nth but F-U-N! :) important things coming up: 1. mum's birthday (24th mar) gotta buy her present! 2.our 3rd mth! (25th mar) sweet sweet. 3. TP dinner & dance (27th mar) so tou tong can! :( got bitten by mosquitoes again! ever since dat day i went to sentosa and ecp. so many days alr and it have yet to heal. & for dat, dad grumbled abt me not putting on insecticide spray when i go to those places. :( anyway mummy was nice enough to help me apply cream. pls heal fast fast can. its so freaking ITCHY. i scratch until e skin around e area are patch RED and there are blood clots. heh. sucks. ohmyohmyohmyGOSH.  this is just 4 of them.in a row. lol5 on my right side thigh. 3 on e back of my left thigh. ugly ugly thighs. hope it doesnt leave scars. PLEASE. its itchy again. -.- Wednesday, 19 March 2008 woooooooweeeeee... am finally going on cruise! have been waiting and anticipating.. and its finally HERE, TODAY! :D lalala. happyhappy. im in a holiday mood! and i actually packed my stuff till 4 in e morning! drop dead. put that excitement aside, ytd was yet another fun filled day! my lovely zilra! after 234652374days..we finally have zilra gathering! woots. totally miss them! think we last gathered tgt was during serene's 21st birthday! anyway, it turn out to be a great success! credits should go to my 2 capable and lovely scandals, grace & becca! :D loads of love. was late. (as usual =x) met becca, chang yong, weng hao, larry,anthony, kleon & elaine at bedok for lunch! then went to east coast park. met yuen yuen. shes working at mccafe. :) amanda wongie came too. then we went off to rent bikes and blades! was damn happy when cy, wongie, anthony and weng are going to blade! company! :D hees. weng even got his own blades lohs. *envy* then grace & kai wen came along. kai's blading too! so theres 6 blading and e rest biking. it was anthony's first time! he's a virgin at blading. =x but he gave up half way and changed to bike. at least he tried luhs! :D and cy's 2nd time. not that bad ehs. LOL. hes one daredevil. hahas, he dare to try. welson, rahman, rayner and sunny came soon after! all cycling except for rayner. and i was quite surpised dat welson doesnt noe how to cycle! >< oh man. so all of us psycho him to learn! in e end, he managed to do it & can even 'long bang' people loh! LOL. nice one welson! :D we went to bedok jetty to chill and take group pics before heading back. ronald & ben waiting for us at mac. oh, and shawn ng came for awhile.seriously, AWHILE. LOL.after returning our bikes and blades, we went to parkway parade for dinner! jiamin, qing ying, shawn tan, liyi, darren, serene, jackson came. :) after dinner, weng, larry, jiamin went off for chalet. so e remaining peeps went to starbucks to CHILL. yuenyuen came too after her work.it was damn scary! cos serene was going round asking private relationship qns. hahas. actually not only her, liyi and kai too. so imagine all 12 eyes staring at you waiting for ur ans. >< all i can hear is my heart pounding. the feeling is just uncomfortable. its alright to ask me private qns. but with 12 other people staring? its just so traumatised. anyway, its fine. :) rebecca & i left around 10plus. i missed my last bus. so dear waited for me at woodlands to pass me money for cab fare. but surpisingly the train is still servicing. so took e train instead. :) thanks dear anyway. TOTS DAT COUNTS. reached home ard 12plus & i was quite amazed mummy wasnt angry with me coming home so late! LOL.
on sunday was dear's lunar birthday! his mum actually asked me to join them. was reluctant at first. but i still went in e end. :x his mum's treat at new york new york. :) his mum is so nice can. (so unlike how mummy treats my bro's gf =x oops) yeahs. his mum actually just gave me to try a bit of her own dish and even peel the crab meat out for me. i mean its like so sweet & make u feel welcome. she is very cheery. and this is my 2nd time i met his dad. wow,its totally another feeling. he seems to be a very caring dad and husband. and isnt as stern as the first time. :) wee~! lastly, his lil bro is damn funny luhs. LOL.he 'danced' after eating. shoving left to right, right to left. HAHAS. and on monday went to sentosa with him. yesh, him again! :D lalalas. it rained when we reached harbour front. but its only for awhile. the sun was nth but HOT and GREAT. woohoos. both of us sun tan on e beach. oh,saw cheng han wei at cafe delma! omg. he's shuai de lohs. love his tan. but heard dat he's gay. how sad. boos. such a waste! dont understand why people wante proceed on to more than good friends with the same sex. i mean.. you have to think abt e future. same sex how to have kids?! and why go against nature? theres a reason why girl is with guy and not guy with guy or girl with girl. personally (i said personally okies), i cnt imagine myself kissing & touching a girl. zzz.. weird. okies, gross. next. after suntanning we went to vivocity! dear finally bought a decent sandals. his Havana. :) and we went to catch step up 2! omg. how i missed dancing. e dance moves are super duper uber COOL can. and e music just make me wanne move. hahas. m missing my sec sch modern dance peeps! and after watching this movie i just feel like going for dance class! i wanne learn reggae & hip hop! :( humps. no money. and im a bit burnt. :( pls dun peel. super ugly can.tsk.
anyway, im off to lunch! gotta wait for ronald and becca for pics. :) bye peeps. shall update u with wad happened on the cruise when im back. :D i will miss you.
Sunday, 16 March 2008 the time is 2pm and i just woke up. blame it all on my parents. the adults seem not to be able to keep their promise. went to my granny's place ytd. i tot i shall be good & go over. wadsmore i dint expect my parents to stay for mahjiong to late night. anyway, 15th mar 2008 is just so NOT my day! i dunnoe wad e freaking problem. people dat i love around me did things dat hurt me. i know they dont do it intentionally. but its just did hurt. my mum screamed at me twice, dear said smth on e phone which got me really pissed. yes. it may seems insignificant, and its just trivial matters. but it just SUCKS big time on such a day! time seems to be passing by really slowly at my granny's place. theres no one. there nth. (except for a bed and tv) i did almost everything..from watching tv, sleep, eat, browsing thru phone pics & msges, squeezing blackheads, staring blankly at the ceiling, looking out of the window... EVERYTHING. first they said 12.30am finish. but then changed their mind and say they will play until next morning! im like so looking forward to 12.30. and when its 12.30 they say till next morning. nice one. i have no say. seriously, for once i regretted coming to my granny's place! im just grateful my mp3 dint die on me. at least music is there accompanying me.

WHY IS THE WEATHER SO GOOD TODAY?! -rawrs- it better be good on monday too. updates updates. results were out yesterday! was worrying the whole time. i even prayed before i log in to see my results.=x i was so relieved! i was so worried i will have to go back for sup papers. thank god, i dint have to. :) i dint do well, but i did better. at least theres a pathetic B as compared to less sem, nt even one. was kinda sad i dint get wad i tot i could achieve for jap CDS and microecons. :( boohoos. nvm. shall work harder. YEAR TWO, HERE I COmE! and those who still have sup papers, do work hard and jia you okies! its okay, its alright. you must FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! :D was home alone today. sadness. went to supermarket to buy some groceries. feel like an 'ah soh' hahas. imagine jan with SPECTS ( YESH, spects! i cnt believe i actually stepped out of e house with those ugly fugly glasses! ), baggy adidas tee, with nth but just a purse in my hand, shopping ard shop and save looking for cheap buys. zzz. uber ah soh. =x hahas, wad to do. super broke. got budget. so i decided to cook SOUP. i think its call 'ABC' soup. HAHAS. i dunnoe? theres carrot, potato, tomato and onion. :) watched some movie online, surf the web, sleep. hahas. dats how my day past. and i cooked my own dinner today! (super free, wad to do?) had luncheon meat, fried eggs with prawns and onions and the soup! :)  (okies, i forget to put pepper and soya sauce into e eggs, so abit tasteless. otherwise its GREAT.) hees.  Wednesday, 12 March 2008 finally after days i get to meet him. but dumb dumb. he overslpt. and e orginial plan was cancelled. ended up having lunch at cwp and he had to go off for his camp in sch after dat. met up with my utmost love and lulu! had shokudo at city link! jap pasta and pizza! doesnt it sounds yummy?! -drools- it may sound pathetic but 3 of us actually share e super small servings of food.  tried SOUP pasta! it was unqiue but nt very tasty. next up was hokkaido style mashed potato and cheese pizza. couldnt taste e potato cos its veri cheesy. and the crust is superduper THIN. but its still nt bad afterall. e best was the curry rice with beef patty! -seeing lulu & ner nodding their heads in agreement- LOVES. and my another fav was the zenzai dessert! theres red bean paste which is SWEET. :) and crushed ice underneath. not forgetting ULTRA CHEWY mochi and green tea ice cream on top! totally in LOVE with this. awww.. passed by another jap restuarant while shopping around marina square. im so tempted to try ALL THE JAP DESSERTS! i told ner i would like to come here for nth but DESSERTS! =x  see lulu's 'im full & satisfied' look.  ner and jan. ner, jan, lulu.DESSERTS make me feel LOVE. cos its SWEET. and i still believe LOVE IS SWEET. |
