Sunday, 21 June 2009 im back from sub comm camp and i had enuff of event proj! :/ oh ya! my parcel came! im was freaking excited abt it! it fits and its gorgeous! thanks cousin theng for doing e transaction for me and gave it to me as my bday gift! woohoo! :D anyway, i keep dragging and dragging my bday post! :x alrightee! lets start off from birthday wishes! thank you lovelies for texting me! :D hope i dint miss out anyone! (in sequences): (i know i miss out some names cos u guys msged to my old no. and i forgot to note down ur names! sorry!) from msn: eva, yeesin, ginger, clark, mujia, cousintheng, cleon, xueqian, cousinsteward, apple, suling, yanyan, chok and yun loong. :) and and special people for dedicating a blog post just for me. baby ethan, grace phua, rebecca and michelle. :) thank you people for e well wishes! :D
4th june: baby ethan came over after his paper. he bought a mini cake for me!
macarons! he bought e strawberry caramel one. nicenice. :) then we slacked till evening before heading to Robertson quay for dinner! he actually made some reservation at a restaurant but he just couldnt tell me what we would be having dat night. we actually cabbed down! ._. nd the cab fare was.. AHEM. *swallow saliva hard* its located at some hotel and its actually a Japanese restaurant!
:D theres this pretty nice stairway that led us to e 2nd storey. and wow. the ambience is great. very nice deco as well. :) sakura petals cut-outs all over.
we had this assorted sashimi which we dont even noe wad it consist of actually. HAHAS. :x tried tuna sashimi for e first time and some 2 other sashimi which we couldnt figure out what it is and i anyhow named it “abalone” and “yu pian” LOL. verdict: salmon is still the best! :D
then oyster omelette with some savoury sauce. got mushrooms in it too! and roux likes the super big oysters in it.
my another fav, soft shell crab! quite a big serving. and its heaven! probably the best soft shell crab i ve eaten! :D
then grilled scallop and prawn wrapped in bacon. okay. this is erm, a lil pathetic uh. just two sticks for like 6bucks? ._. quality janice, QUALITY!
last up, baby’s fish egg spaghetti. very small serving too.
okay, the bill was 3 digit. :x yes. swallow saliva again. hahas.
then we strolled to the we called it “funky bridge”. :D hahas.
(oh i googled it. its called Alkaff Bridge!) u know the place where a lot of local drama were filmed! yesyes. dats the bridge! hahas..
then went to town to catch monsters vs aliens! :D very nice show! frankly im nt a movie cartoon person. it just doesnt appeal to me. but i must say it just cheer me up! very light hearted and it put all my troubles aside. the characters are uber CUTE luhhs. my fav is B.O.B.! super bimbo! HOHO. i like e part where it tries to hook up with a jelly!!! HAHAS. cute to the max.. :D go watch it peeps if u havent!
then home sweet home. :) started present surprise hunting back home. he actually hid 2 presents in my room and he told me when we were out and gave me some clues to find it. e first present was found effortlessly. :) YEAYYY. roux damn free uh.. he wrapped it with manymany layers of newspapers, clear sheet, aluminium foil, black plastic bag and finally the present! its the GREY BANDAGE SKIRT i saw at the flea market outside homeclub! he actually went to search for the blog shop! ohman. thanks baby. :) next was really hard to find. he gave me e 3 clues but i still got NO CLUE! he had to prompt me step by step slowly. hahas. it slipped out. its a WATCH!
anw, its close to a watch i wanted some time back! my fav GOLD digital watch except that this have got more functions like storing hp no and calculator! cool! :D yay~! oh! and mummy was veryvery sweettt too! she actually bought strawberry cheesecake from bakerzin!
yumyum! she actually lighted all e candles and popped into my room! shes very cute! she even off the light herself and started singing happy birthday song for me!
hahas! touched touched! first time eh! hahas. hmm, its really a pity i dint get to celebrate with birthday with my family this year. dad and bro were working. so only mummy celebrated with me. :/ im still happy luhs. :) so dats how i spent my birthday! |
