Saturday, 27 September 2008 whoohoo.. formula one night race is finally here in singapore! just had dinner with kai chin & lings again! went to rafflescity & caught a lil glimpse of e night race! it was damn cool. e sound of e engine sure was deafening! we can even hear it inside e shopping mall! too bad i dont own a ticket at e grandstand to catch it. :( sighs. & im supposed to go shopping with cousin today! but she couldnt make it. :/ called up some peeps but they were all involved in helping out F1. URGHH..so maddening! so many of them involved! so there goes my off dayyyyy.. anyway, work on thursday due to F1 golf & gala dinner thingy on at amara. my first time serving western style banquet & im in charged of 2 tables! im totally LOST and i couldnt cope. :/ thanks to super nice colleagues like cheryl, jason (laoda), hendy(i think :x), jiasheng, marc,some other runners and a few Mianma friends! :D without them i think i can DIE on e spot. then was asked to stay back do pack up. linens are BIG TURN OFF. GROSS. it smells like soya sauce that have been left out in e sun for hundred YEARS! and we had to tie it in a bundle of 10 and count. can imagine e smell of my hands luhhs! later bf dont wante hold my hands alr. :( boos. then help to lay table cloth and set table. my darlings (rebecca, xiuzhen, apple) went off earlier cos they have work e next day. but cheryl stayed back with me. the 11 of us stayed back to do the table setting all e way till 4AM! was feeling so cold and tired. but i have got FUN and NICE peeps working with me so its SMOOTH and HAPPY as well! hendy even got left over breads, LAMB, codfish (1 plate left), pasta and pepsi for us! a lil supper before continuing our work! hees. great motivation!oh and TIPS! teehees! shared e tips among 14 of us (inclu. managers); each person gets abt $12! WAHAHAS. nd i have gt 2 shared cab with e 2 mianma friends. sent them back to jurong west then me. reach home at bloody 6AM. totally SHAGGED. its my first time working till so "early". but tips, food and great people keeps me going! :D im missing my tard cos i havent been seeing him and we were both busy working.. we dint even have chance to celebrate our 9th mth! how great.. :/  its so sadd i got to kiss my but nonetheless, e message that carries your kisses is sooo sweettt.. :D |
