Sunday, 10 August 2008 HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! in summary, i spent my day rotting man. when i woke up, half e day was gone. den have to rush off to granny's place. but just when i was abt to step out of the house, it started raining like no body business. =.= so i was rotting on my sofa waiting for e rain to stop.. but apparently, its not stopping after an hour of waiting! :( so asked bro to carry e umbrella & send me to the bus stop. :) seldom so sweet luhs. HAHAS. the mrt was super crowded luhs. i think everyones going to catch the fireworks. im so glad granny lives on e 15th storey, overlooking the town area; the singapore flyer, the floating platform, the bridge, yada yada. and i can watch the air show as well as fireworks in comfy! how great! HEES. no squeezing and maybe chances of getting molested by some bangalas. =x LOL. the air show was amazing!!! omg! it was flying right ON TOP of my head! i swear i can see every movement and so close up! :D cool! hees. theres this part where e plane goes all e way up 180degree and down 180degree? damn cool. and it was spinning! love e hart shape too, but it aint in pink smoke. :( and i find e part where they inter-meet each other damn cool. from one angle it looks like they are going to crash into each other! thrill. and they are flying so close tgt! i also wanne marry a pilot like zoe tay! =x HAHAS.-hint hint-
hmm, but i dint manage to enjoy the fireworks as much this year. dunnoe why. :( and mayb cos no one is there to share my excitement either. i thot my cousins will be there, but NONE was there. sadd. so i was left to watch the parade kinda alone while e adults are "dry swimming". blahh.. so sad. & i realised im nt e only one celebrating a ------------- on friday, i saw many kids wearing red tees coming out from their school & while listening to those national songs, i cnt help but reminisce the days i spent in pri and sec sch, where we do celebrate national day. still remember everyone assembled in the hall.. going through those national day songs like "home" and other songs in other languages as well. i will sing along to them. -dont luff okayy!- and i rmb we will have music lessons, learning the year's theme song a few weeks before national day! aw man.i really miss it! :( dont you? i dunnoe, i can feel the national day "season" during those days..but not anymore now. i so wanne be at the parade live! i wan tickets! i bet the feeling will be so much diff when u are present at the parade itself. all dat rara-ness, excitement, enthu! i miss going to parade! i still rmb i get to be there live a few years in a row! super cool! and i miss being part of the parade! still rmb helping out the parade.. it may be tiring cos have to rehearse and stuff, voluntarily, but its all worth it. you get to be there live, you get to know new friends and you will really enjoy yourself! some stuff money cnt buy! i dont care, got to be there live at e parade somehow next year! :D
whenever i see the flying airplanes, i cnt help but think of you. if not for that mishappen,the one inside might be you.. in our eyes, you are our pilot. keep flying my friend; pilot cliffton.
