Thursday, 21 August 2008 counting down... 5 more days to HR paper! oh boy. i hardly sit down and concentrate on revising my work! im so worried i cnt finish revising luhs! urghh.. i bet im nt the only one! the sec sch kids are having their prelims too! so i reckon everyone is poking pen into their eyes! =x and it will soon be my turn! yes! how i wish i can cut open my skull and squeeze all my notes into it and stitch it back. it can save me the time and the pain of reading the notes and memorising them. its such a chore! but its just part and parcel of life right? examinations and stuff. blahh.. hate it. :( putting that aside, as the Olympic game is still going on now. many is in olympiad craze! grace phua is one big crazy fella! :p as for me, i cnt stop admiring hes incredible! he met his unbelievable goal of achieving EIGHT gold medals in ONE Olympic game! and i mean, its alr tough trying to win one medal in one olympic game, not to mention GOLD medal and not one but EIGHT of it! i wonder how he manage to do all dat. in total, he has 14 GOLD medals from 2 games! hes the man yo! :p and Jamaica is the fastest country man. all the fastest people are there! so cool. and many are proud that singapore finally won our first silver medal after 45 years! but i beg to differ. yes, i WOULD be proud if its achieved by our very own grown, nurtured, real Singaporean, someone who carry the SINGAPORE blood who did it. i guess many will agree with me. im sure. :x if u notice, almost half of the singapore team are "bought back". i dun like the idea. so wad if we won? its just another PR. its just someone we bought back. it isnt achieve by someone of a true Singaporean. someone who is born here, right here in singapore. at least, dats how i felt. i dint feel the happiness nor proud-ness upon the news that we won. nothing. nuff' said.
