Saturday, 29 March 2008 oh man. theres so much to update! i can only say im BUSY and LAZY. :( guess wad. i woke up at 5pm today! more than half e way is alr GONE. ytd was a GREAT night. really. let me present to u temasek's poly dinner & dance 2008; chroma de Runway: a night of fashion at regent hotel. :D in fact, i really regret buying the ticket. (it costed me $50! yesh! dat costly!) and realising not much zilra peeps are going! wth. thank god theres scandals grace, becca, weng, cy and co. who 'pressure' me.. and i ended up attending D&D. i think i will really regret it if i sold e ticket away. :) i havent been really looking forward to it at first. was really slacky..which is so unlike me. usually i will be the 1st to be kan chiong like wad to wear and stuff like WAY BEFORE the dinner. but this time i only get worked up a few days b4 e dinner. so its really SLACK AH! im broke to buy new dress. so borrowed a black dress frm my utmost love really last min. (thanks alot babe! hai shi ni zui hao.(: ) not only dat, being e usual paranoid and pessimestic jan, i was so afraid of unexpected, unhappy things that may occur and ruin e night. thank god,nth much bad dat happened. maybe dat jam on the way there, eveythings fine. :D supposed to join becca & grace scans for makeup and hairdo. its costed them abt $50 each but being broke, i decided to DIY instead. :D save $$$. took my own sweet time. fake lashes, golden eyeshadow, lipstick, blusher, eyeliner. CHECKED.
then hairdo. permed my own hair. (but cui diao after awhile) and used mum's glitter hair spray woohoos! DONE.
dressed up, accessorized( mum's necklace and ear rings) and wait for them to come over. becca's mum was nice enough to send us to the hotel. but STOOPID jam caused us to be real late. zzz. when we reached regent hotel. we just stoned outside! e lobby was crowded with people! i got all nervous and stuff. went to 'register' and get our goody bags.:) saw jason panda first who's helping out.
and before we know, everyone started taking photo with each other. :D then after taking ENOUGH pics, we went into e function room. and wow. the stage was a runway. and EVERYONE have to walk up the stage and to ur table! ohmyohmy. was seated with fellow zilra peeps. theres larry, weng, cy, becca, grace, me and 4 other cham cham people. =x hahas. oh, and i do have to mention i really am lucky in some way.. first, each table have a string and one person from each table have to hold on to it. being a gentleman, weng hold it. then e mc said,the one OPPOSITE have to hold e other end. nice one. ITS JANICE HUAY. zzz. so with the string, we have to hang 7 items that he listed on it firmly. we have gt everything but we're missing credit card and dunnoe how many cent from which year. so dint win. :( next was 6 lucky stars among hundred of guests will gt to win golden village $28 gift cards! it was said to be under the chair.so everyone was searching. as i was LAZY, i dint bother to bend down to check. so i just ask becca to check for me. she say dunhave. so 4 of the ppl who found e stars went up.. means 2 more is still out there. just when i was abt to give up, i touched underneath my chair and found smth pointy... its a STAR! i was damn excited! WOOHOOS. :D the programs were great too. theres even our own students being models showcasing pretty fashionable clothes. damn cool. as for e food. it was fine, just dat e last few dishes, i dint even touch it cos it turned cold and i dun have e appetite to eat. was too busy taking pics. =x the whole thing ended with dance. flashing lights everywhere. my side was really 'low low low low'.. so we went over to the other side. find people and started taking pics and chit chat. after everything, we just hang around e lobby area and decide where to go.we went to clarke quay! and after much persuading, my mum allows me to stay out. but its only until 3am. but WHO CARES. i noe i wun be a good girl dat night. =x we cabbed there and we walked frm clarke quay to the central to find the rest of the peeps.(elieen, dexter, nic, kokguan, ck, becca, cy, maybeline, grace, meng, jy and mei fen) stoned there abit b4 GOING BACK CLARKE QUAY AGAIN.-.- went to fashion bar. omg. its FULL. and its all TP D&D students luhs! LOL. being e last group to be there, we found a cosy place near e entrance to settle down. ordered 2 jug of red bull vodka, one vodka, one jug of orange juice, sprite and cranberry for becca who's nt drinking. :) each of us paid $12. played 'cai quan' the one who guessed correctly wins, so the ones beside e winner have to drink. ck and becca who was siting beside me keep winning..and poor jan have to keep drinking. -.- and being SLOW doesnt help. SLOW= Punishment. DRINK. :x
went out to rest awhile.the alcohol was taking effect. was feeling real hot and headache. :( sunny and kokguan vomitted. helped them take tissue. then jy came out. he's really DRUNK like... he couldnt even walk straight! kok guan took him to the toliet. poor jy. and weng saw me and tot i was drunk too. NO im not,okies! hahas. after drinking, we went out as the bar was closing alr. many were drunk can. but i think e worst is TJ! omg. he cnt even walk. he fell twice. and he still can rmb my name and talk! LOL. damn funny. becca and i shared cab home. jason and ck walked us to the taxi stand. i dunnoe wads wrong but i just am high and keep laughing nonstop. LOL. slept on becca's lap the moment i was in the cab.zzz. reached home ard 5am and everyone in e house is ASLEEP. no scolding. WAHAHAS. it was purely a GREAT NIGHT. :D
going back track.. sunday was venos refresh. learnt mass GL cheer which was freaking LONG like dunnoe wad. 7 pages ehs! but it was surpising i could memorised it! :D after refresh,went to marina square to get present for mummy. but out of stock, went to orchard. theres 50% off storewide! :D hees. bought the white bag she wanted. :D then went to becca's hse to check out her sis's boots and her dresses. it was damn fun! she walked me to the bus interchange as we were practicing e mass cheer! monday was yet another refresh. but its all empire refresh. :) it was kinda lame luhs. we have to find 'treasure' only to find out the treasures are used for final clash. and i was so pissed by one of the programmer! cos i volunteered to hold the pinkish-jello-like thingy. and i have to go collect one part of the clue. i just take wad i was supposed to take and passed to my grp members. i was really careful. and after a long time we realised the 'clue' was missing! then e programmer told his fellow programmer that WE LOST THE CLUE. nice one. i can swear e clue wasnt stapled with e 'envelop'. I DINT LOSE IT CAN. zzz. and cnt stand him,so yaya luhs. zzz. *slaps* i left b4 the final clash starts. had steamboat with family at mt. faber! woos. cool man. as its a monday, there isnt much people. so was enjoying the dinner very much. and the soup base is GOOD. :D met my utmost love to collect the dress from her. and we managed to have our heart to heart session at starbucks and update each other. :D super nice. miss her luhs. tuesday was our 3rd monthsary. hahas.:) he was nice enough to accompany me to vivocity and orchard to shop for belt for my dnd. :D was really fussy..and ended up buying a belt at far east. (but dint use it in e end.-.- nice one) after a day of shopping we just chill at starbucks. :) skipped dinner and went back. time really flies and we have been tgt for 3 mths alr. u have been treating me well. thank you for all the care u showered on me. :) and im sorry i made u so worried last night when i went to drink. i rmb ur words. know my limits. and u told me u'll be there if i were drunk. :) ignore my camwhore mood. :x
