alright peeps. i finally got my lazy bum off the chair and im WORKING again!
so hardworking right?! hees. *a round of applause for janjan pls*

it was super last min. jackson called me up dat he needs people to work frm saturday to this coming friday. at first he said must be able to work ALL days. (which i cnt) so was really upset. then later he said i could try out one day first. so i started work YTD!

im nt shy to admit in fact i dun really noe wads e job scope like and theres no INTERVIEW! like wow. but i trust jackson luhs. =x all i know is its buffet catering. so i dint noe wad to expect.

was told to meet him at orchard mrt. met him and maggie. my new found friend! shes also from TP. i find her super cute and we have gt so much to talk abt! it seems as thou we knew each other way before. :D
and we went to the tent outside taka! its SINGAPORE FASHION FESTIVAL!
wads more surpising is I DINT NOE I WAS GOING TO WORK IN THERE! never in my life had i walked into those professional runway show! *ima poor kid*

when i walked in, theres alr like many of such staff there standby. he took us to the kitchen there to get our blazzar cum uniform. went to changed. gosh. theres only m size and its FREAKING BIG CAN! -.-
after we changed, we were asked to stand by at the VIP sector! which overlooked the runway! but the disadvantage was that we have to climb a flight of stairs. but who cares as long as theres nice overview of the whole thing! :D *jumping ard in excitement like a lil kid*

after a short briefing, guests started coming. was asked to carry platter ard and serve food with another guy. while maggie, preeti and another short hair girl did drinks. jackson was the bar tender.

oh man its my first time doing F&B and i didnt noe carry plates on ur palms in so freaking PAINFUL. :( and theres this dish dat have heavy small plates on top of the platter! its double the weight can! *faint*

ytd alone have 3 shows meaning 3 batches to serve. so by the end of the 2 shows, i cui alr can. is like ur palms are stiff and its aching like HELL! and its like e max. its painful and aching to the max but u still have to carry on.. damn sad luhs.
BUT money keeps me going on! woots. *ting ting ting*

after one day of hard work, was famished at e end of the day. went to have mac before heading back home.

i pity my own arms loads. *massage massage*

as for today only gt 2 shows, so was asked to work frm 6-10. was much slacky today.
hope tml will be the same. :)


reasons why i love this job:
1) can watch free catwalk show! EVERY SHOW IS DIFFERENT and u can watch ALL OF IT. pretty pretty and handsome handsome models. *drools*
oh, and they are so upclose! can see boobies hoping ard luhs! LOL. =x and maggie dint noe models dun wear bra. hahas. jackson even worse! he say they dun wear panties. I DUN BELIEVE luhs. eee..really damn gross if dats e case. HAHAS. i told him they wear g-string. =x

2) get to admire super duper nice clothes, accessories and shoes which i know i couldnt afford. BUT i wish to own one when im older and RICHER! woohoos.

3) it only gets busy at a certain time when e show is starting and e rest of the time is just slack ard and money gets into ur pocket. :D

4) its $6 an hour just holding platter and serving guests! much generous pay compared to SENTOSA & u have to do 545376628 times more tiring & tedious job then this! HA!

5) can see celeb up close! denise is the 'dai yan ren' for e mastercard for this fashion show. so every show she will be up at the VIP area to chat with the VIPs and take pics with them! shes super PRETTY and i like all her dressings frm top to bottom, head to toe! gorgeous lady.

6) got free coke, orange juice, lime juice, champagne, red wine, white wine to drink. :x

7) i have gt nice peeps working ard me. :)
