Tuesday, 2 October 2007 i was beat tired. :( it seems like my life is so meaningless.. everyday wake up, go to work, get off work, have dinner, then sleep. sigh. im working at e concept store. they're having fair, hari raya promotions. was busy placing it on e wagon, cleaning e bedsheets.. so tiring. :( however, i think todae is a much better dae. :D im happy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- was late for work todae! so cabbed there frm toa payoh. took the 'premier taxi'.. e door was freaking heavy luhs. i cldnt open it fully..so i squeezed in thru e small opening & e door hit my shoulder. OUCH. -.- hahas..anyway, e main point was..its REALLIE FAST! :D BUT..the fare is EXPENSIVE too..dat costed me $7.80.. :( mum came todae again! LOL. her third time alr. reason is bcos e bedsheets are reallie VERY CHEAP & e quality is good. e onlie thing is it have limited size & patterns. mum came with auntie ping, her colleague. :D WOOHOOS! they bought DONUTS frm donut factory!!! how nice! hees.  finally after 4 days there..i was able to go out to buy lunch! wee! my new colleague, Ronny showed me ard. i helped my colleagues to buy chicken rice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- omg. e uncle damn nice? hahas.. i dunnoe. abit teekoh? xp i ordered 2 packets of roasted chicken rice. den ronny sae they want to add rice. so i asked uncle to add rice. & i asked him how much is it after adding e rice. then he looked at me..den smiled & sae, "aiya, bu jia qian le, $2.50 loh." WAHAHAS! dint noe i can buy food at a cheaper price. xD last thing, he asked me how many packs of chilli i want. den i sae 2 shld be enuff alr. den he put in 2 packets..den hesitated and sae.."give you 3 luhs" hahas.. dots. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ended work at 7pm. :D went to amk to pass huachi e extra donuts. chatted with becca. having zilra chalet on thurs at sentosa! then fridae going sentosa AGAIN..with classmates. :D hope most ppl can make it for this fridae de sentosa outing bahs! :D taking off on thursdae and fridae! hees. sun. sand. sea. SUNBRUNT.xD -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a story to share: 2 china lady came to concept store ytd and todae for training. hmms..was chatting with one of e gurls, pei pei. i listened to her story. i felt reallie fortunate. i think dat we shldnt stereotype all china lady as cheap or some call them 'jian' . and i admit i do have dat perception of them b4..i listened to her story. she told me they signed a 2year contract to come to singapore to work. guess wad. THEY CANT GO BACK TO VISIT THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS FOR 2 YEARS! OMG! how sad ryte?! can u imagine coming to a foreign country ALONE, & unable to see ur family members for 2 YEARS?! she said e hardest part is e communication part, bcos they dunnoe how to speak nor listen to english. while most of singaporeans communicate thru english. and having to leave their comfort zone, unable to see their parents. she cried while telling me dat. :( i reallie sympathize them..but i cnt do anything. she sae she reallie regret coming here to work. she hates e food..e weather..everything. i just hope she will be able to get used to e life here in singapore. :/ seriously, i dun think i can life in a total foreign country for 2 years without being able to see my parents.. i just feel so fortunate. :) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   mother & son.:D     he WAS just e size of my palm. not anymore..
